Yeah, I've had the same experience many times, getting
help from a fellow biker. I finished off some of
the components for my springer, but it looks like
it will be another week before it's welded up. I'm
thinking of buying a spare steering stem, rather then
using my stock one, just so I'll have my other fork
assembly complete. Take it easy, Bryan
